Haslington homes are better by half

With sales of new homes in Haslington having passed the halfway mark, buyers are being urged to act now if they want to move to Vicarage Fields.

Ideally situated between Crewe and Sandbach, with five cities within commuting distance, the Elan Homes development enjoys a village location that enables its residents to achieve the perfect work/life balance.

A year after the show home and view home opened, more than half of the properties have been sold and many of them are now occupied.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, says: “Location remains high on buyers’ wish lists when choosing a new home and Vicarage Fields has it all – from views of farmland and meadows to easy access to the surrounding cities including Chester, Stoke, Liverpool, Manchester and even Birmingham. Viewing is also an integral part of the buying process and we encourage anyone looking to move in or around the Cheshire East area to visit the development to get a feel for the neighbourhood and look around the show home and view home before making a commitment.”

Current availability at Vicarage Fields includes four-bedroom detached homes in a choice of four designs.

Each property will be finished to Elan’s exacting standards. Kitchens will be fitted with integrated appliances including electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge freezer, plus soft close cupboards and drawers; while bathrooms and en-suites will enjoy contemporary white suites.

Prices start from £254,995 for an Alston style property. All of the homes fall within the threshold for Help to Buy, the Government backed scheme that enables purchasers to reduce the initial cost of homeownership with the aid of an equity loan.

“Several people who have bought a home at Vicarage Fields have done so with the aid of Help to Buy,” Marie adds.

“It’s the ideal solution for first time buyers and those who perhaps don’t have a lot of equity in the home they’re moving from, as it reduces the level of deposit required to just 5%. Customers then only need a mortgage for 75% of the property’s value as the remaining 20% is covered by the equity loan, which is interest free for five years.

“Alternatively, if someone has a house to sell we can help with that. Our EasyMove scheme could enable them to secure a buyer on the open market, or in some circumstances they may be able to trade it in in part exchange for a brand new home.”

To find out more about the homes and the move-making incentives available at Vicarage Fields, visit the development, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm.
