According to latest figures from the Government, the Help to Buy scheme has created 131 new homebuyers every day since its launch in April 2013. Set up to support those taxpayers who could afford to pay a mortgage but struggled to save up the deposit, the number of new homeowners has now reached over 100,000 thanks to the scheme. Developer Countryside is now offering purchasers the opportunity to join these ranks and buy one of the superb new one or two bedroom apartments available at its newly launched St Paul’s Square development in Bow E3 – the earlier phase of which sold out in record time.

Located in one of the most vibrant parts of East London, St Paul’s Square will consist of four apartment buildings once complete, offering a superb collection of apartments in a variety of flexible layouts suitable for first time buyers and young professionals. Working in partnership with Poplar HARCA, this new development from Countryside offers purchasers a chance to buy into the many benefits of Bow with its excellent transport links, vast range of local facilities and open green spaces.

Richard Cherry, CEO of Partnerships at Countryside, said: “Bow is a fantastic place to live and an area that is in great demand, but in London particularly, getting a foot on the property ladder can seem unattainable to many. At Countryside, Help to Buy accounted for around 38% of our private completions in the last financial year, representing some 415 new homes bought under the scheme and we are proud to now bring its benefits to homebuyers in Bow.”

Now available, the homes within the Lansbury Heights building are being completed to a high standard specification with features such as contemporary fitted kitchens, handless base and wall units, contrasting stone worktops with upstand, integrated electric ovens, ceramic hobs with splashbacks and integrated telescopic extractor hoods. The properties also comprise integrated A+ rated appliances including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer and flooring included throughout. Each property also benefits from an outdoor space in the form of a balcony or terrace, with most boasting views of attractive landscaped green corridor at St Paul’s Square and Canary Wharf.

The stylish bathrooms and en-suites combine style with practicality, featuring built in mirrored vanity units, white sanitaryware with chrome fittings and driftwood finish bath panels.

St Paul’s Square offers purchasers some excellent choices with a number of good transport links. It is just a short walk from both Mile End underground station and Devons Road on the DLR, and Bow Road and Bromley-by-Bow underground stations are also within easy reach. Limehouse station, offering services via National Rail and the DLR, is also in close proximity.

In addition to great transport links and its close proximity to the Olympic Village, St Paul’s Square residents will be able to take advantage of a vast range of facilities including great restaurants and bars, local markets and superb shopping at the retail landmark Westfield Stratford City. For those who crave open spaces, the development is within walking distance of a large number of open green spaces and parks as well as Regent’s Canal, perfect for cyclists with its towpath.

Prices for the one bedroom apartments at St Paul’s Square start from £349,950, with Help to Buy available on selected properties. The new marketing suite and show apartments are open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, for further information or book an appointment, visit stpauls-square-bow.co.uk.
