Hundreds of Basildon buyers register their interest in new homes

The wait is almost over for buyers eagerly anticipating the launch of new homes in Essex.

More than 1,100 people have registered their interest in properties at Redrow’s St Nicholas Mews in Basildon.

With the first homes due to be released for sale via estate agents Temme English this Saturday (March 19) those who are looking to spring on to or up the property ladder are being encouraged to add their names to the growing list of prospective purchasers.

Steve English, from Temme English, said: “There’s a sense of pure excitement amongst house hunters as the launch of St Nicholas Mews is a real positive for the area – it’s just what Basildon needs. Prices won’t be released until the launch event, but that’s not holding people back. We’re handling at least a dozen enquiries a day from would-be homeowners and as the launch draws nearer the number of calls we’re receiving is growing.”

Located on Ballards Walk, St Nicholas Mews will eventually comprise 110 new homes in a choice of three and four-bedroom designs from Redrow’s sought after Heritage Collection.

Inspired by the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era, the properties will look very traditional from the outside; while inside they will be bright and modern, with a high specification as standard.

Initially they will be sold ‘off plan’ from Temme English in Basildon, with show homes scheduled to open in late spring/summer.

Buyers will be able to take virtual tours of similar properties thanks to extensive video footage on the Redrow website, where they will also be able to make individual design choices to truly make their home their own.
