Commuter town homes are increasingly fashionable as families look for more space for their money and Harlow in Essex is no exception. According to a recent survey by Totally Money, Harlow is one of the best places to live in Essex for those working in the capital, ranked for commuting time, travel costs, disposable income and house prices. This is good news for families who want larger homes and a safe place to invest. As a result, during the last year, Harlow’s house prices are up by 13 per cent on the previous year according to Rightmove. Bellway are offering four-bedroom properties from £434,995, a more affordable price range than the average, which is great for families wanting to invest in the town.

Gemma Bannister, Sales Manager of Bellway Homes Essex, says: “Fusion has been a huge redevelopment project for Harlow and we are excited to learn it is becoming a popular destination for commuters. We are now launching the Mount and Burrell, four-bedroom home types that really offer contemporary, affordable family living, and the prices that start at £434,995 are well below the average price for a home of this size.”

Fusion is located in the Newhall district of Harlow, perfect for families due to its walking distance to several good primary schools, including Fawbert and Barnard’s, Church Langley Community and Henry Moore Primary Schools, and its clear open spaces, cycleways and play areas. When complete, the community will also benefit from a range of amenities including a neighbourhood centre, shops and a new primary school.

The Burrell and Mount homes both feature open-plan kitchen and dining areas and separate living rooms that open onto the back garden. All kitchens come with a selection of integrated appliances and soft-close units. On the first floor of the Burrell the master bedroom benefits from a private balcony, a fitted wardrobe and an en suite, while the remaining bedrooms share the family bathroom, complete with ceramic tiling, modern white sanitaryware and chrome heated tails rails. The Mount also boasts a balcony, which can also be accessed from bedroom three.

For commuters, the new homes at Fusion are ideal. The nearest train station, Harlow Mill, is four minutes’ drive away, with frequents services into London Liverpool Street in around 40 minutes. Trains also run direct to Cambridge and Stansted. Road links are superb with the M11 just seven minutes’ drive away, with access to London and the M25, Stansted Airport, Cambridge and the A1.

Prices for four-bedroom homes at Fusion start at £434,995. Help to Buy is available on selected plots. For further information regarding these new homes in Harlow, visit bellway.co.uk.
