Go Suburban

If you’re looking for somewhere more suburban that’s South, why not try Twickenham. Famous for being the home of English Rugby and the residing place of the poet Alexander Pope, Twickenham has tons of pubs and restaurants. Its leafy suburban nature means that it’s ideal for families and just far enough to be on the edge of London so you don’t feel in the midst of the hustle and bustle without being too far away.

Safety First

Like anywhere, there’s a lot of crime in certain areas of South London and not so much in others. A wise decision is to check the crime statistics for a particular area. You can do this easily by using the police crime map which gives you up to date statistics for your area then work out which area is the safest.
