Home-hunters don’t have much longer to wait before they can secure their perfect property at Gwel An Hay, Taylor Wimpey’s wonderful collection of new-build homes coming soon in Launceston, Cornwall.

The leading housebuilder’s brand new selection of high-quality properties is due to launch this summer and will offer a wide range of options for discerning purchasers, including two, three and four-bedroom designs.

Detailed plans and prices will be unveiled when the new properties at Gwel An Hay are released for sale.

Clare Brimble, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are very excited about the launch of Gwel An Hay, which will offer an exceptional opportunity for property-seekers in Cornwall to purchase a brand new home in a peaceful location within easy reach of a great range of facilities.

“We’re already experiencing high levels of interest from hopeful buyers, so anyone who hasn’t yet done so is advised to register their interest today and make sure they don’t miss out when the first plots are released for sale.”

Gwel An Hay will comprise a stunning selection of 85 two, three and four-bedroom homes at Hay Common to the south of Launceston.

The name Gwel An Hay – which means ‘The Enclosure Field’ in Cornish – was selected following consultation with local organisations.

The masterplan for the development at Hay Common includes a new primary school. Gwel An Hay benefits from an ideal location close to some of Cornwall’s most striking countryside yet remaining within easy reach of Launceston’s shops and leisure facilities.

Launceston’s Norman castle dominates the town, which offers a diverse mix of independent speciality shops selling locally produced foods situated within quirky narrow streets.

There are also large convenience stores offering everything for day-to-day living, while families will appreciate that the town provides schools for children of all ages.

Known as the Gateway to Cornwall, Launceston lies just across the border from Devon and is easily accessed from the A30. It’s just 15 miles to the dramatic Cornish coastline, just over 40 miles to the city of Exeter and 46 miles to Truro.

Prospective purchasers can register for updates about the new homes at Gwel An Hay online at taylorwimpey.co.uk.

The development, located at Hay Common, Launceston, PL15 9DA, will be opening in summer 2016.
