Sales of new homes in the Humberstone area of Leicester are flying and buyers are being urged to wing their way to Nightingale Gardens if they don’t want to miss out.

Around 80 homes have now been sold at the popular development. Dozens of happy homeowners have moved in and a new phase of four-bedroom properties is now on release. Based on previous success, award-winning Redrow is encouraging potential purchasers to get in touch without delay.

“Nightingale Gardens is an established neighbourhood where people really want to live,” said Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands).

“More than three quarters of the properties have now been sold and we have a list of people eager to move here. As building work has progressed and more people have moved in we’ve just released a new phase, offering an increased choice of four-bedroom designs. Previously properties have been snapped up as soon as they’re released for sale and we’d therefore recommend that would-be homeowners act fast if they want to secure a home at Nightingale Gardens.”

The latest release includes the Oxford, spanning 1,300 sq ft and including an expansive kitchen and dining room, handy utility, separate lounge and convenient cloakroom to the ground floor, with four bedrooms including master with en-suite to complement the family bathroom upstairs.

For those looking for a larger property, the Sunningdale is the ideal solution. It offers 1,621 sq ft of accommodation, including combined kitchen and dining room, lounge, study, utility and cloakroom downstairs. Upstairs, two bedrooms have an en-suite, leaving the family bathroom to serve the remaining two bedrooms.

Current prices at Nightingale Gardens range from £298,950 for the Oxford to £364,950 for the Sunningdale.

All of the homes enjoy a high specification as standard and as the properties now on release are still under construction, there are plenty of opportunities for personalisation. Purchasers can access the My Redrow feature of the website where they can select from a range of options including the finish of the kitchen or the bathroom tiles.

There’s also the chance to make homeownership easier to afford with Help to Buy.

Customers using Help to Buy should only need a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage to secure a new home. The remaining 20% is covered by an equity loan, which is interest free for five years.

To see why the properties are so popular, visit the show homes, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm. Alternatively, see redrow.co.uk/nightingale.
