Lovell Homes is confident that homes at its new Scholars Way development in Werrington, Staffordshire – which is set to be unveiled on Saturday 9 July – will gain top marks from homeseekers.

The much-anticipated launch event for the company’s development in the bustling village will see the opening of the brand-new sales and marketing suite, plus two professionally styled show homes.

Taking place from 10am to 5pm, it will also provide the chance to talk to an independent financial advisor as well as benefit from free information and advice about mortgages and ways of making your money go further, including the Government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme. Help to Buy allows homebuyers to access a 20 per cent equity loan from the Government, which means they can move into a brand-new property with just a five per cent cash deposit and 75 per cent mortgage.

“With so much interest already in the development, we’re excited to be inviting homeseekers to take their first look at the tremendous advantages offered by Scholars Way,” says Lovell field sales manager Michelle Barnsley.

“The development gives people the opportunity to buy a brand-new home rooted in a dynamic village community, surrounded by fields yet less than five miles from the town of Hanley. And with two-, three- and four-bedroom properties, these attractive homes are ideal for a wide range of buyers, whether families, young professionals or downsizers.

Two show homes will open their doors at the launch event and are impressive showcases for the superb design, exceptional build-quality and the most exacting standards of finishing which characterise homes built by Lovell. Each property has been professionally designed by an interior design specialist to show off the enviable lifestyle available here. The three-bedroom Westwood house style’s beautifully designed ground-floor layout features a stunning kitchen / dining room with French doors leading to the garden. There’s also a generous separate living room while the ground floor is completed by the hall way, cloakroom and under-stairs storage. Upstairs is the master bedroom with en-suite, plus two additional good-sized bedrooms and the family bathroom. The other show property is the Fanceford Corner house style, a superb four-bedroom property ideal for families looking for a wealth of functional and stylish living space. The ground-floor accommodation includes the extensive open-plan kitchen (with adjoining utility room) and dining room which has French doors to the garden. The dining room also has doors to a large living room with two feature windows. Also on the ground floor are the hallway, cloakroom and under-stairs storage. Moving upstairs, the master bedroom benefits from an en-suite and fitted wardrobe and there are three further bedrooms plus the family bathroom.

Both appealing and practical, all homes at Scholars Way feature high-specification fixtures and fittings, including a brushed steel cooker hood, stainless steel hob splashback and Bosch oven and hob as standard.

The development’s transport connections are excellent too: you’re perfectly placed for Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme as well as being within ten miles of Junction 15 of the M6. Leek is just eight miles to the north and Ashbourne eighteen miles to the east while the glorious scenery of the Peak District National Park is also within easy reach.

The village of Werrington itself has plenty of attractions. The village hall is a lively community hub offering social and sporting sessions ranging from pre-school clubs and table tennis to yoga and kickboxing. There’s also a choice of pubs including the Windmill, the Red Cow gastro pub and the family-friendly Ashbank. If you like getting out into the countryside, picturesque Wetley Moor Common is just four miles north. The development is less than half a mile from Werrington Primary School and less than one and a half miles from Moorside High School.

To find out more, visit the launch, from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 9 July at Scholars Way, Russell Grove, Werrington, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire ST9 0EX. The sales and marketing suite and show homes will then be open on Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm and on Mondays from 11am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit lovellhomes.co.uk.
