Halifax launches 24 month credit card offer with 0% interest and no balance transfer fee

Halifax has launched a new credit card offer giving 0% interest for up to 24 months on balance transfers with no balance transfer fee.

The 24 month balance transfer card also offers 0% interest on purchases made during the first six months of account opening.

To qualify for the offer, customers must make a minimum balance transfer of £100 within the first 90 days of account opening. The card is available online, in branch and by telephone from today.

“Customers can now also check their eligibility for a Halifax credit card using our online eligibility checker. After a few simple questions are answered, the checker will indicate to interested customers how likely they are to be accepted for the product without affecting their credit score. It’s a really useful tool and something I’d encourage all customers to make use of.”

The Halifax 24 month balance transfer card is available to new and existing customers, providing that existing customers don’t already own two Halifax credit cards. Existing customers can transfer balance from a non-Halifax credit card to the 24 month balance transfer card but are not able to transfer balance from one Halifax card to another.
