Townhouses have seen the largest price growth over every other house type in the last five years, increasing by 21%. Offering a lifeline to those looking to take advantage of both the style and space of a contemporary townhouse is Notting Hill Sales’ brand new development ASPIRE in Arnos Grove, Enfield. Notting Hill has extended its Shared Ownership scheme to the development, helping families and young professionals onto the property ladder.

ASPIRE comprises 14 three-bedroom homes, designed with families in mind. The stylish townhouses offer spacious accommodation and boast a contemporary specification that takes advantage of the three-storey layout to provide all the features needed for modern living, including access to parking and cycle storage.

In addition to space, townhouses offer more privacy, by creating ‘zones’; giving older children and teenagers their own space for studying and entertaining – or to give increased privacy for parents to relax in.

Simon Neary, Head of Sales and Marketing at Notting Hill Sales, commented: “The new research highlights how desirable townhouses have become, offering spacious living areas and contemporary designs. Three storey living is a win/win for growing families, giving them the space they need at a price they can afford. Our Shared Ownership scheme creates another tier of flexibility, and opens up this superb development to more home owners. There’s already a great deal of interest in ASPIRE, so we would urge people to act quickly.”

At ASPIRE, the ground floor is home to a spacious open plan living/dining area, with a fully-fitted kitchen featuring a range of built-in Lamona appliances, including ceramic hob and fridge/freezer, creating an area for the whole family to get together.

On the first floor, the two bedrooms, one of which has a private balcony, are generously proportioned and have access to the family bathroom, which is fully tiled and complete with modern Hansgrohe sanitary ware. The top floor is devoted to the master bedroom, with en-suite tiled shower room and its own spacious private terrace, perfect for parents to relax and enjoy once the children have gone to bed.

A number of Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ schools, are nearby, including Bowes Primary School and Aylands School, both of which are within easy reach of ASPIRE.

Commuters are well-placed too, with underground services from Arnos Grove station just 0.3 miles away, and New Southgate and Bowes Park stations on the London Overground also close by. A number of local bus routes also operate from outside the development.

Through the Notting Hill Shared Ownership scheme, buyers can purchase between 25% and 75% of the property, paying subsidised rent on the remainder. Residents can increase their ownership share at any time, all the way up to 100%.

Prices for a three-bedroom townhouse at ASPIRE start from £186,000 for a 30% share of the full market value of £620,000. For further details, visit nottinghillhousing.org.uk.
