With journey times into London soon to be slashed, it is little wonder that property prices along the new Elizabeth Line are soaring. Since the project was given the green light, properties within a 15-minute walk of Crossrail stations have outperformed prices in the surrounding areas by an average of 5%, and are expected to continue do so over the coming years. Situated adjacent to Harold Wood Station, on Crossrail’s eastern section, Countryside’s Kings Park development in Essex is perfect for savvy commuters looking to capitalise on the new high-performance rail service and rising property values.

Kings Park is currently offering an exclusive collection of three and four-bedroom houses which combine unique contemporary architecture and sustainable design. Benefiting from a beautiful parkland setting, with tree-lined avenues and green open spaces, Kings Park offers an outstanding lifestyle in an excellent location.

Located within the Oyster Card Zone, Harold Wood Station already offers Kings Park residents excellent travel links, with trains into London Liverpool Street taking as little as 35 minutes. As of 2017, Harold Wood Station will be on Crossrail’s Elizabeth Line, which will decrease journey times into central London by up to 19 minutes. Other benefits of the new line will include increasing central London rail capacity by 10 per cent, as well as supporting regeneration and cutting journey times across the city, meaning now is the perfect time to invest.

Andrew Loveday, Sales Director at Countryside comments: “Crossrail and the superb travel connections have been a major selling point at Kings Park, particularly due to its unique location with all properties being within a few minutes’ walk of Harold Wood train station. Kings Park has attracted a wide range of buyers including first time buyers priced out of Zones 1 to 3; to families and downsizers. Combined with great nearby parks, good local facilities and striking modern architecture, Kings Park is understandably a desirable place to live.”

One of the house designs available at Kings Park is the Rosenberg, an impressive four-bedroom townhouse. Set over three floors, the spacious family home benefits from a large, open-plan kitchen/dining/family area on the ground floor, with modern fitted cabinets and high-quality integrated appliances. The first floor offers a large living room, guest bedroom, bathroom and the master bedroom, which boasts fitted wardrobes, a luxury en suite bathroom and a feature window. Two further double bedrooms and an additional bathroom can be found on the second floor.

Despite its picturesque setting, Kings Park is within easy walking distance of a great range of amenities including a Post Office, supermarket, travel agent, several hairdressers, a bakery and a restaurant. Meanwhile, nearby Brentwood is home to many bars and eateries, a selection of high street and independent shops and charming boutiques.

In addition to superb rail services, Kings Park is near to the A12, A127 and M25 for fast connections to London, Kent and further afield, whilst easy access to the M11 is convenient for travel through Essex and Hertfordshire to Cambridge.

Current prices start from £554,995 for a three-bedroom Arundel house design and £669,995 for a four-bedroom house. Countryside will be releasing their next phase of apartments in the autumn. For more information, visit kings-park.co.uk.
