The contemporary design of Bellway’s latest development at College Mews in Hebburn is capturing the attention of buyers looking for more affordable living in the Newcastle suburbs.

Bellway’s sales advisor Maxine Kane, said: “Visitors to the development really appreciate the contemporary styling of the homes. The elevations feature larger window apertures which allows more natural light to flood the living spaces giving the rooms feel more airy. As well as concentrating on the contemporary exterior design a lot of work has also been done inside the homes to maximise storage space. Everything inside the house has its place, and this positioning has been precisely calculated allowing you to make the most of your new home.”

Visitors to College Mews can view two Bellway show homes, the four bedroom detached Rowan provides over 1,200 sq ft of living space and features a cleverly designed L shaped kitchen and family dining area. A separate living room coupled with a large entrance area and WC completes the ground floor. The first floor provides a family bathroom and four good size bedrooms with the master bedroom benefitting from ensuite facilities.

The three bedroom Chestnut home offers 995 sq ft of living space. The ground floor is divided between a large separate living room measuring 15 ’7” x 12’ and an open plan kitchen dining room with french doors to the rear garden. The first floor provides a family bathroom and three bedrooms with the master bedroom including ensuite facilities.

All the homes at College Mews feature contemporary bathroom and kitchen designs which include selected integrated appliances. The development offers a broad selection of house types with a variety of floor plans to suit a mix of family sizes and all the homes benefit from garden space and garaging.

Prices start from £199,995 and buyers can take advantage of the Help to Buy scheme which allows them to put down a minimum deposit of 5 percent and take advantage of a 20 percent five year interest free Government loan which helps reduce mortgage repayments during the first five years of ownership.

There are a number of well-regarded schools in the local area, which cater for primary and secondary-age pupils. For older students, Gateshead, Newcastle and Sunderland offer a number of further and higher education colleges and universities.

Residents will benefit from excellent public transport links, including regular bus services and access to the Tyne and Wear Metro at Hebburn station, five minutes drive from the development. The Metro connects the town with South Shields to the east and Gateshead and Newcastle to the west.

For longer distance commuters, major roads easily accessible from College Mews include the A19, the A184 and the A1. For domestic and international flights Newcastle Airport is 25 minutes drive away via the A184.
