Help to Buy lends a hand to Leicester buyers

High demand for new homes in the Hamilton area of Leicester means buyers are already looking ahead to spring, but those who act now could find they’re able to move before the year is out.

Redrow’s Hamilton Gardens development is now a well-established neighbourhood and very much somewhere people want to live. New homes are selling fast, with the latest releases scheduled for completion in May 2017.

Some buyers, however, could find they’re able to move much sooner - even those who are still saving a deposit for their first home.

A cloakroom completes the ground floor, while upstairs the master bedroom boasts an en-suite, leaving the family bathroom to serve the remaining two bedrooms.

A three-bedroom Evesham, on the market at £195,950 can be purchased for an initial outlay of £156,760 with Help to Buy. The lower price includes a deposit of £9,797 (5%) and mortgage of £146,963 (75%). The remaining £39,130 (20%) is covered by the equity loan, which is interest free for five years.
