As the first residents prepare to move into new Redrow homes in Shrewsbury, the housebuilder is anticipating it will lead to further sales success.

Building work at Lime Tree Meadows is progressing well and as the development begins to take shape, there’s been an uplift in the number of people visiting the show homes.

Six properties were sold in the last month alone and with the first residents due to move in before Christmas, Redrow is predicting a further increase in enquiries from those hoping to follow suit.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), explains: “In November we saw a flurry of sales at Lime Tree Meadows, perhaps fuelled by the drop in temperatures and the idea of moving to an energy efficient new home that’s easy to manage and potentially cheaper to run than an equivalent sized older property.

“Moving home is generally an exciting time, but it will be that bit more special for the first residents of Lime Tree Meadows who will be settling in just in time for Christmas. We’re very much looking forward to welcoming them and a further eight customers who will be moving into their new homes in January. From experience, we expect that as more people move in it will encourage others to start thinking about moving and becoming part of the new community.”

Lime Tree Meadows offers a choice of three, four and five-bedroom homes from Redrow’s sought-after Heritage Collection with current prices from £241,995.

Those who reserve before the end of January could benefit from a £500 contribution towards their legal fees.

Externally the homes look very traditional, taking inspiration from the Arts & Crafts era with time-honoured architectural features blended with high specification interiors designed to meet the demands of 21st century living.

Customers can access the My Redrow area of the housebuilder’s website to choose from a range of options to personalise their property prior to moving in. Along with the finish of things like the kitchen or bathroom tiles, they can also select practical extras, additional appliances and eco-friendly options all at the click of a mouse.

Located on Ellesmere Road, the homes are within each reach of the town centre, which offers plenty of shops, restaurants and other amenities to cater for residents’ daily needs. The local station offers direct links to Birmingham and Chester with journey times of around an hour to each.

The fully furnished show homes, including an example of the Balmoral, are open daily from 10am to 5.30pm. For more information see redrow.co.uk/lime.
