Be the king or queen of your very own ‘Castle’ Fields

If an Englishman’s home is his castle, then this development in Barton Seagrave has got to be one of the jewels in Redrow’s crown.

Situated within the wider Barton Park development with all of its landscaping, it benefits from a more stately style of life, with a gentle pace and more than a hint of historic grandeur, close as it is to a host of Northamptonshire country homes and estates.

Yet while Redrow’s Castle Fields venture offers its subjects a relaxed way of living, Kettering Station offers frequent rail services to St Pancras in London and there are good road links so, as with all royalty, it is very well connected!

But the crowning glory has got to be the homes from Redrow’s Heritage Collection, outwardly boasting the charm and tradition of times gone by, while inside offering spacious and contemporary living for today’s luxury-loving modern families.

“It really is a gem,” says Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands). “The quest for a better work-life balance is not a myth, it is what people are constantly striving to achieve. But, while once it was a wish, now it is a must-have for families who are happy to work and have ambition, but who want to be able to relax and switch off too.

“Castle Fields is the perfect place in which to unwind and spend time with the family after a hard week at work or school, and Redrow creates the most perfect homes in which to do it.”

Castle Fields in Polwell Lane is a thoughtfully created collection of three, four and five-bedroom new homes, with four-bedroom properties currently available from only £234,950.

Among them is the Kenilworth townhouse, which offers versatility and value, with much more house for your money than many other four-bedroom rivals. Its ‘rooms in the roof’ formula gives it a whole extra floor of living space.

On the ground floor of the Kenilworth is a lounge which spans the full width of the property overlooking the rear garden, complemented by a large and airy open plan kitchen and dining area, a cloakroom and a handy laundry area. On the first floor are three good-sized bedrooms and a bathroom.

But the piece-de-resistance of this townhouse has got to be the palatial top floor master suite, a spacious bedroom with en-suite, ‘hidden away’ from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house in what would normally be redundant roof space.

Tonia adds: “By building up instead of out and adding a third floor of living space in the Kenilworth we’re able to maximise the potential of the property, so customers get more house for their money and superb value.

“It makes a fantastic family home. If parents of young children want to be close to them on the first floor, the top floor makes a great guest suite, or those with teenagers or grown up children living at home may want to give them free reign of the top floor.”
