Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has moved another step closer to launching a brand new collection of high-quality homes in Midsomer Norton, Somerset, as works get under way on site.

Hambleton Rise will offer an exceptional range of two, three and four-bedroom homes situated on the leafy fringes of this sought-after community, bordered by picturesque open countryside with the Mendip Hills right on the doorstep.

With initial groundworks now in progress to prepare the site for construction to begin, Taylor Wimpey is set to release the first selection of plots for sale later in the year – and homebuyers are being encouraged to register their interest today.

Danielle Heard, Acting Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Bristol, says: “The countdown has now begun to the official launch of Hambleton Rise, a stunning selection of beautiful new homes that will offer so much to property-seekers in this beautiful rural community on the edge of the Mendips.

“We’re expecting considerable interest in this hotly-anticipated new development so I would urge would-be movers to register their interest now – and put themselves at the front of the queue when the first homes become available to purchase later this year.”

Taylor Wimpey’s forthcoming new homes will offer a wealth of choice for purchasers in a range of circumstances, from first-time buyers and downsizers through to professionals and growing families looking to step up the property ladder in style.

Detailed plans and prices for the first available plots will be revealed at the development launch, and anyone who registers their interest will receive the latest updates as soon as further information is available.

Hambleton Rise is situated on the northern outskirts of Midsomer Norton, and the new homes will be set amid attractive landscaping including green open spaces, handsome mature trees and an equipped children’s play area.

Only a mile away from the development is Midsomer Norton’s historic town centre, which is characterised by the River Somer that runs through its heart and offers a wide range of everyday amenities including shops and local services, pubs and bars, entertainment venues and places to eat.

There’s also a Tesco superstore just half a mile from home as well as a large Sainsbury’s in the centre of town.

A little further afield, meanwhile, are the beautiful cathedral cities of Bath and Wells – each around 10 miles away – with the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering endless opportunities for walking, cycling and enjoying the great outdoors.

For families, there’s a choice of high-performing schools for children of all ages available in Midsomer Norton and neighbouring Paulton, including the Ofsted ‘outstanding’ Paulton Junior School and the ‘good’ rated Somervale School Specialist Media Arts College and Norton Hill Academy for secondary pupils.

Commuters will appreciate that Bristol is within easy reach via the A37, while Bath Spa railway station offers regular services to Bristol Temple Meads in around 15 minutes and to London Paddington in about 90 minutes.

To register an interest in the new homes coming soon at Hambleton Rise, located off Monger Lane, Midsomer Norton, BA3 2SP, property-seekers can visit the Taylor Wimpey website at taylorwimpey.co.uk.
