The opening of a new show home near Chester has opened the doors to further sales for Elan Homes at Westminster Place.

Following initial off plan success, the niche developer secured two instant sales after launching the five-bedroom Mellor show home and four-bedroom Bunbury view home at the development off Sandy Lane in Saighton.

Elan is also working with other potential purchasers keen to move to Westminster Place and is inviting would-be homeowners to visit without delay.

Visitors are sure to be impressed by the high specification showcased in the Mellor show home dressed by Whitchurch-based Stanza Style.

Alex Egan, from Stanza Style, explains: “We’ve used a combination of indigo, navy and gold to create a glamorous look with a lot of satin fabrics embellished with sequins to give it a sumptuous feel. In the lounge we’ve opted for a neutral sandy coloured sofa with navy piping and offset the subtly of this with wooden furniture finished in gold.

“The open plan kitchen, family and breakfast room is a really good size and to emphasise this we’ve used a white dining table and chairs. It’s a real contrast to the formal separate dining room, which we’ve furnished with blue velvet dining chairs to give it a more sophisticated look.”

Upstairs, in the master bedroom there’s a brushed sequin throw on the bed that has a two-tone effect. At the end of the bed there’s a gold-framed stool, which complements the bedside tables.

The second bedroom is styled as a guest bedroom, finished in white and blue to give a light and airy look with a fresh feel.

“This is very much a family home and so we’ve thought about the people who might live here and the hobbies they might pursue,” Alex adds.

“For example, there’s a sailing themed teenager’s room, complete with a sail on the wall, porthole effect mirror and shutter style headboard. The sea theme continues in the twin girls’ room with wallpaper part way up the wall to give the impression of waves, shell-shaped headboards, mermaid bedding and octopus artwork.

“The fifth bedroom has been styled as a study, reflecting that an affluent family would live in this property with perhaps one of the parents occasionally working from home.”

The professionally styled and fully furnished Mellor, is complemented by a finished example of the four-bedroom Bunbury, which allows buyers to appreciate the specification Elan offers and imagine how they might utilise the space.

Current availability at Westminster Place includes three, four and five-bedroom designs. Prices start from as little as £223,996 using Help to Buy or £279,995 without the Government-backed equity loan scheme.

Help to Buy gives buyers the chance to reduce the initial cost of a brand new home by up to 20%. Those buying in this way typically only need a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage as the balance is covered by the equity loan, which is interest free for five years.

The show and view homes at Westminster Place are open Thursday to Monday from 10am – 5pm.
