Balance work and family life in a new home in Buntingford

Blending town and country living, with easy access to London, new Redrow homes in Hertfordshire tick all the right boxes for those who don’t want to compromise on location, style or space.

Located on the edge of the market town of Buntingford, close to the High Street, The Maples offers the best of both worlds.

Selected properties have views over neighbouring fields, yet despite the rural outlook there’s a wealth of local amenities close to home.

Factor in that Redrow is building a good choice of three, four and five-bedroom homes from the Arts & Crafts influenced Heritage Collection and it’s no surprise that The Maples is proving popular.

Kerry McCoubrey, sales director for Redrow Homes (Eastern), said: “Location and a sense of community remain high on buyers’ wish lists and The Maples scores highly on both fronts. Buntingford is a picture perfect town and our new homes are ideally positioned with easy access to shops and cafes on the High Street. It’s a great place to settle down and raise a family as there’s a choice of ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ schools within walking distance.

“While there are plenty of facilities to cater for residents’ daily needs in Buntingford, there are options for more serious retail therapy in in Hertford, which is 20 minutes away by car, or Cambridge, which can be reached in 35 minutes. If that wasn’t enough, there’s a choice of options for commuting into London. Homeowners could make a short drive to nearby Royston, Ware or Hertford East stations and then hop on the train to the capital.”

Ware and Hertford East stations are a 20-minute drive from the development, offering journey times to London Liverpool Street of 47 and 51 minutes respectively.

Location was a major draw for Lisa Abbott and Kevin Power who are looking forward to moving to The Maples.

Kevin said: “We wanted a larger home with more space and a garage, but were keen to stay in the Buntingford area because we’ve built up a group of friends here and there’s a good sense of community. It’s a place that’s close enough to London but far enough away to be able to enjoy countryside dog walks or a round of golf.”

Located on Ermine Street, current prices at The Maples start from £509,995 for a three-bedroom detached Worcester style property.
