Luton buyers look ahead to 2018

Eager buyers keen to be part of a landmark regeneration scheme in Luton are snapping up new homes due for completion in early 2018.

All 16 apartments at Eaton Green Heights, part of the wider Napier Park development, were reserved almost immediately and following that initial success Redrow released family homes for sale.

While the properties won’t be ready to move into until early next year, five of the homes have already been snapped up.

Kerry McCoubrey, sales director for Redrow Homes (Eastern), explains: “We’ve received hundreds of enquiries from people keen to know more about Eaton Green Heights. The homes are being built close to Luton town centre and along a route towards the motorway network so passers-by are curious about the work taking place to prepare the land for housing. We’re constantly being asked when the show homes will open and when the first properties will be ready to move in. While it’s still very early days for the development that’s not deterring buyers. We’ve already sold five homes, the first of which will be ready to move into in early 2018, and there are buyers who’ve identified their preferred properties on later phases too.”

Properties at Eaton Green Heights are from the sought-after Heritage Collection. Externally, they will look traditional, taking inspiration from the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era. Inside however they will be very much designed with the demands of modern living in mind.

Current availability includes three and four-bedroom designs, with prices from £379,995 for a four-bedroom Kenilworth style property.

On the ground floor of the Kenilworth is a lounge which spans the full width of the property and overlooks the rear garden. It’s complemented by a large and airy open plan kitchen and dining area, a cloakroom and a handy laundry area. On the first floor are three good-sized bedrooms and a bathroom.

But the piece-de-resistance of this property has got to be the palatial top floor master suite, a spacious bedroom with en-suite, ‘hidden away’ from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house in what would normally be redundant roof space.

Residents of Eaton Green Heights will benefit from the area’s superb transport links to London. Direct trains are available to London St Pancras with journey times of just 26 minutes from Luton Airport Parkway or 32 minutes from Luton station. The M1 is also easily accessible from the development, and when it comes to international travel, the homes will be perfectly placed within easy reach of Luton Airport.

The Heritage Collection homes at Eaton Green Heights are available to reserve ‘off plan’ via Redrow’s Caddington Woods development on Chaul End Road, Caddington.
