Hertfordshire home-hunters hoping to secure their perfect property are invited to a special preview event showcasing the beautiful houses at Taylor Wimpey’s Hertford Gate development in Hertford.

The leading housebuilder is holding a Hard Hat event at the development on Saturday 8th July from 10am to midday so prospective purchasers can get on site to view the plots which are under construction.

During the event, the Site Manager will talk them through how the new homes are coming along and help them to visualise the properties once they are completed.

Just four plots remain for sale at Hertford Gate and those who reserve their dream home now will be able to personalise their home with Taylor Wimpey’s fantastic range of interior Options. However, with Options only available in the earlier stages of construction, time is running out to do so. Full details are available from the Sales Executive.

Jack Costello, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Our Hard Hat event at Hertford Gate means buyers can discover more about the sought-after new homes we have on sale at this highly desirable new development.

“It is a fantastic opportunity for prospective purchasers to get on site and enjoy a glimpse of the benefits of this wonderful location for themselves.

“I would urge anyone who is interested in finding out more to book an appointment to attend the event on Saturday 8th July – this is a chance that’s not to be missed!”

Each townhouse at Hertford Gate features a large kitchen/dining room with double doors to the private rear garden and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway. The first-floor landing leads to a living room with Juliet balcony, a bedroom and a bathroom, while three further good-sized bedrooms, including one with en-suite facilities, and an additional cloakroom occupy the top floor. The property benefits from an integrated garage and driveway parking outside.

There are four impressive four-bedroom ‘Oakham’ properties currently on sale at Hertford Gate, with prices starting from £524,950.

A wide selection of amenities can be found less than two miles away in Hertford town centre, which offers a choice of large supermarkets and a variety of independent shops and boutiques. Hertford Castle is based in the town and its gatehouse, dating back to 1463, is home to Hertford Town Council. Hertford Theatre and Corn Exchange host entertainment including comedy and art exhibitions, while there are plenty of pubs, clubs and restaurants.

Parents will appreciate a wide choice of well-regarded schools in the area, including Wheatcroft Primary School – rated ‘good’ by Ofsted – while The Chauncy School in Ware – also rated ‘good’ – provides secondary education.

For commuters, quick access to both the A10 and A414 puts the likes of Hatfield to the west and Harlow to the east within easy reach, while the A1, M1, M25 and M11 are all nearby and Stansted Airport is just over 20 miles from home. Hertford East and Ware railway stations provide links to London Liverpool Street, while Hertford North station runs direct services to London Moorgate.
