A stylish 3-bedroom show home has opened at one of the most exciting and innovative new residential neighbourhoods in Europe, Greenwich Millennium Village in Greenwich. Set in an enviable location close to the River Thames, the new Überhaus show home offers prospective buyers the chance to experience what living in this stylish, contemporary accommodation would be like.

Exuding style and sophistication, the exclusive Überhaus collection brings together a fusion of house and apartment, showcasing clever and practical architectural design. Set over two floors, each Überhaus within the Millennium Terrace and Iverna Quay buildings, comprises flexible, light filled living spaces, unrivalled city views, offering busy professionals the perfect haven for unwinding after work. Buyers can also choose the floor layout that works best for them, with some apartments featuring upstairs bedrooms and downstairs living space, and others featuring an upper floor living area and the bedrooms on the lower floor.

GMV is the result of innovative planning between Countryside and Taylor Wimpey, with the backing of the Mayor of London. Chris Bladon, a Director of GMV Limited comments: “Excitement has been building at GMV ahead of the Überhaus show home launch, as it offers prospective purchasers the opportunity to see first-hand what living within this unique property would be like. The Überhaus concept is ideally suited to busy professionals wanting the perfect escape without leaving the capital or giving up space, which is why we have created this exclusive collection to meet the needs of modern lifestyles. I would urge any perspective buyers looking for a unique, flexible home with amazing city views to come and view the Überhaus show home.”

The newly opened show home showcases the contemporary living, available with an Überhaus, at its very best. The vast living areas boast higher than average ceilings and full height glazing, flooding rooms with natural light. The open-plan living spaces flow out onto large terraces or balconies, boasting elevated views over the city, with some also benefiting from views over the Thames, perfect for quiet relaxation or elegant entertaining.

The kitchens are fitted with contemporary stone-grey gloss units with white stone worktops, ceramic floor tiles and a full range of integrated appliances create a new style of urban living, the feel of which is perfectly encapsulated in the new show home. The clean, contemporary feel continues in the bathrooms, featuring feature sleek white sanitary ware, and throughout the living spaces with luxury engineered oak flooring and sumptuous carpets to the bedrooms exuding luxury and warmth. Each property also benefits from plenty of built in storage.

All residents at GMV benefit from the services of an on-site concierge, along with an array of community facilities focused around a village square with shops, hairdressers, Ayurveda spa, nursery, and the ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated Millennium Primary School. The world famous O2 arena and all its leisure and entertainment attractions and Greenwich North tube station are just a short walk away.

On the Peninsula, 50 acres of land has been developed as parkland, including the on-site four-acre ecology park, which features an inner and an outer pond where residents can enjoy spending time relaxing and watching the fascinating variety of wildlife that lives in this urban oasis. Residents can also take advantage of the huge amount of green open space with landscaped courtyards and a new eco play area. A number of running and cycle paths run adjacent to the Thames, passing the iconic Iverna Quay building.

For commuters, GMV is just one stop away from Canary Wharf and nine minutes from Westfield Shopping Centre via the Jubilee Line from North Greenwich Underground Station, which also benefits from night tube services. There is an excellent range of amenities within close proximity of the development including The O2 with its diverse mix of restaurants, cafes and entertainment opportunities. Thames Clippers also provide frequent services from North Greenwich Pier, while the new Emirates Air Line cable car connects quickly and easily to the Royal Docks on the opposite side of the Thames.

Prices for three bedroom Überhaus range from £659,995 to £949,995. Apartments are also available and a brand new collection of four bedroom houses will be launching at GMV later in the year. For further information about Greenwich Millennium Village, visit gmv.london.
