Peugeot hungry to help Bonhoeffer Peugeot has been chosen by specialist catering vehicle conversion company, Bonhoeffer, to supply an initial order of 85 Expert Chassis cabs, 10 Boxer vans and 10 Expert vans, which will service leading British food manufacturers and suppliers.

The Leicestershire-based company specialises in converting light commercial vehicles into specialised hot and cold catering vans and state-of-the-art fast food delivery vehicles on behalf of various well-known companies, including Ginsters and Greggs.

Bonhoeffer has decided to go with a dual badge deal with both Peugeot and Fiat vehicles which will see Peugeot supply over 200 light commercial vehicles per year. The order is for three years and is worth £7 million.

Steven Gaunt, group chairman at Bonhoeffer, said: "The Expert Chassis cab has been specially brought into the UK for us and we are very grateful to Peugeot for being so accommodating and understanding exactly what we require.

"Both the 2.0 HDi Expert Chassis Cab and the 2.2 HDi 350 Boxer long wheel base van have been selected by Bonhoeffer because of their ease of conversion and high spec build quality, which perfectly meet our clients’ needs. The dedicated dealer support and comprehensive three year warranty also makes Peugeot the perfect choice for us and we look forward to our ongoing partnership."

Karl Berger, fleet sales manager at Peugeot, said: "Peugeot prides itself on being able to offer a comprehensive portfolio of vans which can suit any and every company’s requirements in terms of reliability, specification, price, ease of conversion and load carrying capabilities. "In this particular case we have been able to go the extra mile and tailor the vehicle offering to Bonhoeffer’s exact specifications."

All vans will be supplied by Peugeot’s Dealership JJ Cooksons of Macclesfield.
