Wright and MacLennan Ltd will use the new 3.5 tonne long wheel based dropsides to transport fencing and installation equipment to customers across the region and beyond.

The Scottish-based fencing contractor designs, manufacturers and installs a range of products including domestic, high security and sports pitch perimeter fencing. Established in 1970, their clients include local authorities, airports, prisons and industrial businesses. Products including fencing, rails, gates and decking, manufactured in timber and iron, all individually designed to the customers’ specifications.

“We wanted a vehicle that would meet our consistently heavy workload demands,” explained Gary Russell, Wright and MacLennan’s managing director. “Our new MAXUS dropside meet these needs and we have been very pleased with performance. Lothian LDV was able to meet our deadlines and the excellent five year warranty added to this successful purchase.”

John McPhee, Lothian LDV franchise manager, added: “The addition of LDV’s chassis cab range to our line up has enabled us to meet the needs of an even wider customer base. As well as an excellent product, customers also benefit from a great warranty and dealer back-up every stage of the way.”
