MAXUS makes the grade

9th January 2009 Print
MAXUS makes the grade A local junior school has increased its excursions and reduced its costs thanks to the purchase of two17 seat MAXUS minibuses supplied by LDV dealership, Town and Country Vans.

The MAXUS minibuses will provide Guillemont Junior School in Farnborough with greater flexibility to safely transport its pupils on six annual residential trips and numerous daily excursions. Each vehicle was fitted with a roof rack and ladder access for additional storage.

Safety was an important consideration as headteacher Barbara Cook explained: “We have a commitment to parents to provide a vehicle that is both reliable and safe. We have had various minibus models in the past but have found the MAXUS minibus offers us additional safety features. The vehicle feels solid on the road but light to drive.

“We are very pleased with the service and lease agreement arranged by Town and Country Vans and where possible like to support local businesses,” concluded Barbara.

The 17-seat MAXUS minibus will also be hired out to other surrounding schools and children’s community groups during off peaks times.

Tim Stringer, Town and Country Vans’ leasing manager added: “The MAXUS minibus offers educational establishments a variety of seating options. All seats are forward facing, with ‘all generation’ lap and diagonal seatbelts and the buses also feature ABS and EBD brakes.”
