Championship Renault Premium for ATOL Motorsport Fuels

Racing fuel and lubricant supplier, ATOL Motorsport Fuels Ltd., has taken delivery of a Renault Premium 410 rigid with high roof sleeper cab and Optidriver gearbox. The truck, which was supplied through Renault Trucks distributor, Sparks Commercials, has a 31 foot box body and will be transporting race fuel to all rounds of the British Touring Car Championships.

The Renault Premium will attend the Formula Renault UK Championship with Michelin and ELF Renault Clio Cup Championship to enable the company to supply and test all racing fuel and lubricants, ensuring compliance with race regulations.

Anthony Webb, Commercial Manager, ATOL Motorsport Fuels Ltd., says: “We already have an 18 tonne Renault Premium and had no hesitation in purchasing another. Our driver travels all over the country and, as well as transportation, is also responsible for testing the fuel throughout the events. A key purchase factor, therefore, was the high spec cab of the Renault Premium as, with driver comfort a top priority, the high roof sleeper cab is ideally suited to our needs. With the vehicle attending the Formula Renault UK Championships, we are also pleased to support the Renault Trucks brand.”

ATOL Motorsport Fuels Ltd. is based in Hythe, Southampton and was established over 12 years ago. The company supplies and tests fuel and lubricants for cars, karts, motorcycles and boats at leading events nationwide. The company also supplies all of the UK’s ELF race fuels and racing lubricants. ATOL Motorsport Fuels Ltd. became part of fuel distribution company, Wessex Petroleum, in 2008.
