Liverpool city centre apartments for sale at ‘today's prices' 'Waterside', a new development of apartments in Liverpool city centre - the first launched for nearly 12 months - is set to test the underlying demand in the city's residential market.

The Liverpool office of global property consultant Knight Frank is staging an on-site sales launch for the scheme this weekend - Saturday 4 September and Sunday 5 October at the development at Princes Half Tide Dock.

The development of 121 designer one and two-bedroom apartments, called ‘Waterside', is situated at Princes Half Tide Dock in Liverpool city centre.

Originally conceived by City Lofts, the development is now complete and offers a range of imaginative offers designed to make the properties the most affordable, high-quality residential properties currently available in the city centre.

The new pricing structure, adjusted to reflect the current market, means that prices at the Waterside development start at just £127,500 for a one-bedroom apartment with city/river views.

"The residential development pipeline in Liverpool city centre has almost dried up so Waterside offers one of very few opportunities to own a new high-quality apartment for the next couple of years at least. These are the best new apartments in Liverpool and they are available at the best price in the city," says Julian D'Arcy, partner at Knight Frank.

All apartments are finished to a very high standard and have a range of high-quality fixtures and fittings such as, Bosch kitchen appliances, Italian Stone worktops, walnut faced floors, chrome finished light and plug sockets, dimmer switches, carpets and wardrobes to master bedrooms, with fully tiled terrazzo marble bathrooms, down lighters to main rooms, ensuites, balconies terraces and patios, and car parking for some apartments plus many more features.

D'Arcy continued: "What purchasers will get for their money here is truly extraordinary and they will appeal to the owner occupier looking for affordable high quality living. However, with a strong rental market we also expect a number of these apartments to be sold as investments for the future.

"The build and internal fit-out quality of the development provides a high level of durability without compromising on style.

"This new pricing structure essentially rolls the clock back and we are very confident that both owner-occupiers and investors will react very positively to the launch.

"In many ways this is a stern test of the regional residential market but as we have maintained throughout, the right quality product offered at the right price will attract buyers and prove to be a long-term success."

Prospective buyers will be able to tour the development from 10am to 4pm Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October 2008.
