Following the agreement signed in November, launching Spanair's mobile boarding service, Spanair and Vodafone have now extended their partnership to include spanair.mobi on Vodafone live! As part of its dedication to mobility services, Spanair has developed its spanair.mobi portal allowing accessibility from all mobile phones that have a direct internet connection.

With the launch of spanair.mobi on Vodafone live! almost 10 million users with a Vodafone live! handset will have access to the following services:

- Check-in, flight changes (if their flight class permits them), consulting the times and status of their flights.
- Information on Spanair, the new Spanair x 4 structure, checking their Spanair Plus points, offers, Express sales, and Spanair hotels.

Vodafone live! customers can access the spanair.mobi site just by using their Vodafone live! internet tab.

This service is free and Vodafone customers will only have to pay for Vodafone live! usage.

In addition, customers using Vodafone live! to access spanair.mobi check-in for flights in May and June, will be entered into a prize draw for a Nokia N95 internet Edition and 2,000 Spanair Plus points.

Javier Gascón, Head of Mobile internet of Vodafone states that "with this type of agreement, we continue to lead the way in terms of internet-mobile integration, providing our clients with the possibility of managing their tickets just as they do on their computers. With Spanair, we are offering the market a mobility advantage and we are certain that this new service will be well received in our industry."

Pablo Sánchez, Director of E-Commerce of Spanair, adds "we are aware that these new solutions are very useful for customers and we have decided to increase the services offered in partnership with Vodafone in order to improve their comfort and save them time. Via these initiatives, Spanair is leading the implementation of new technologies within Spain's commercial aviation industry, and we know that Vodafone is the right partner with whom to sign this type of agreement."
