bmibaby announces new routes for summer ‘08

bmibaby the award winning airline with tiny fares, yesterday launched stage two of its summer 2008 schedule from Birmingham International, Cardiff International, East Midlands and Manchester Airports.

The airline is pleased to announce new routes for next summer from Birmingham International Airport to Milan (Bergamo), Madrid and Krakow; from Cardiff International Airport to Gdansk and Warsaw and from East Midlands Airport to Nice, Gdansk and Warsaw.

bmibaby will also increase frequencies on popular Mediterranean routes during the peak months.

Flights went on sale from midday yesterday (Wednesday 28th November 2007) at Bmibaby.com and more new routes will be announced shortly.

Birmingham International Airport

For summer 2008 the airline will bring back the popular routes of Bordeaux, Marseille Provence and Barcelona and ramp up the frequencies on popular Mediterranean routes. During the peak summer months the airline will offer twelve flights per week to Malaga, eight flights a week to Alicante, six flights a week to Murcia and five flights a week to Faro.

bmibaby will operate 358 flights per week to and from Birmingham International Airport during the high season and fly to 23 destinations: Aberdeen, Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Belfast (Intl), Bordeaux, Ireland West Knock, Edinburgh, Faro, Geneva (winter 07/08), Glasgow (Intl), Jersey, Krakow, Lisbon, Madrid, Malaga, Marseille Provence, Milan (Bergamo), Murcia, Nice, Palma, Prague and Rome Fiumicino. For summer 2008, bmibaby will bring back the popular routes of Bordeaux and Perpignan from Manchester airport. Flights will operate daily to Bordeaux and six times a week to Perpignan on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Fares start from just £24.99 one way including taxes and charges.

The airline will operate 178 flights per week to and from the airport during the high season and fly to 12 destinations: Alicante, Belfast (Intl), Bordeaux, Cork, Geneva (winter 2007/08), Ireland West Knock, Jersey, Malaga, Newquay, Palma, Perpignan and Prague.
