bmibaby announces new route from Birmingham

bmibaby, the airline with tiny fares and the largest carrier in the Midlands, has announced further developments at Birmingham International Airport with the launch of a new service to Poland’s capital city Warsaw.

The new route to Warsaw will start with a three times a week service operating from Birmingham on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Services commence on 27th May 2008. Flights go on sale today (8th January 2008) at bmibaby.com with fares starting from just £21.99 one way, including all taxes and charges.

Historical Warsaw, is Poland’s most cosmopolitan city. The UNESCO World Heritage listed Old Town has a vibrant culture, while the modern part of the city is a shopper’s paradise. Warsaw also has numerous cultural offerings from museums and galleries to palaces and churches.

bmibaby is the largest carrier at Birmingham International operating over 350 weekly flights to and from the airport this summer. The addition of the new route to Warsaw brings the total number of destinations from the airport to 24.

The airline has recently launched services to the beautiful city of Krakow from Birmingham, and already serves the capital city Warsaw and the gateway to the Baltic coast, Gdansk from its bases at Cardiff International and East Midlands airports.
