It’s time to surf, sail and safari in Kenya

It’s game on! This week sees the exciting launch of a fabulous new Neilson ‘Beachclub’ in Kenya. The Mnarani Club is located at the heart of everything that puts this area of Africa at the top of the wish list for many action and adventure-seekers.

Offering an exhilarating & unique combination of inclusive watersports and mountain biking, plus of course all the delights of quintessentially African safaris - Neilson is venturing into new territory and onto a deliciously diverse continent to provide year-round active holidays to the popular destination of Mombasa.

Watersports, wildlife and outstanding hospitality are at the top of the agenda for Neilson in Mombasa and this new Beachclub will epitomise Neilson’s unique philosophy to holidays – to ‘relax as hard as you like’. Neilson will be launching the first Royal Yachting Association recognised training centre in this area of the world and as such, will offer watersports on tap including windsurfing and dinghy sailing - complete with the very best equipment, inclusive tuition and RYA courses.

The action doesn’t stop there. Waterskiing and wakeboarding, kayaking and deep-sea fishing have all been added to the menu to ensure guests are able to take full advantage of the perfect conditions on the ocean doorstep of the Mnarani Club.

The stunning Mnarani (Mar–rani) Club is situated on the cliffs of Kilifi overlooking the Indian Ocean and Kilifi Creek. Kilifi is perfectly located just 50km north of Mombasa, yet occupies a tranquil and laid back little world all of its own. The small (but perfectly formed) hotel offers an idyllic beachside retreat - complete with a wonderfully secluded and private sandy cove, an infinity pool overlooking the ocean and a vibrant beach bar – a must for that all-important sundowner after an active day.

Whilst providing a year-round playground for those seeking invigorating days out on the big blue, there’s no forgetting the Big Five. The unforgettable African safari experience is within easy reach of Neilson’s new home in Kilifi and guests will be able to take advantage of both great value game drives, as well as exclusive ‘air safaris’ to the world-renowned reserves of the Masai Mara, Tsavo and Shimba Hills.

If that’s not quite enough to whet the adrenalin-fuelled appetite - add mountain biking through the last remaining example of deciduous African rainforest on the Eastern coast of Africa, scuba diving, golf, bird-watching and the dazzling culture of Mombasa – and guests will soon be wondering how to divide their time between action and relaxation and asking themselves whether a 2 week holiday is quite enough.

The Mnarani Club opens its doors to Neilson Beachclub guests on 2nd November 2009, with holidays going on sale on 1st May 2009.

A week at the Mnarani Club with Neilson will cost from £799 per person including direct return flights from Gatwick to Mombasa, resort transfers, 7 nights accommodation at the 3 star Mnarani Club, club-board meal basis (daily breakfast plus 3 lunches & 4 evening meals), windsurfing and dinghy sailing with equipment, RYA tuition and RYA courses, mountain biking with guiding service and kayaking.
