Iceland Express puts Stansted on sale

As Iceland Express bids farewell to Stansted and waves hello to Gatwick - the low-cost airline is putting the last seats on the route on sale. For three days only Iceland Express is offering a special reduced rate from London Stansted to Reykjavik.

The budget airline will offer passengers who log-on to book their flights from 12 until 14 January 2009 a one-way flight for £59 including taxes, a reduction of 15 per cent on the usual fare.

Iceland Express will commence flying eight times per week between London Gatwick and Reykjavik from 1 May 2009. This will replace the daily service between London Stansted and Reykjavik.

The special offer applies to selected dates and flights on the London Stansted to Reykjavik route and 3000 seats will be available from midday on 12 January until midnight on 14 January 2009. Travel must be completed between 13 January and 30 April 2009.
