Walking through undiscovered Corfu

Walking specialist operator, Ramblers Worldwide Holidays is offering a 15 day tour of ‘Undiscovered Corfu’. Far away from the hustle and bustle of many of Corfu’s popular resorts, this holiday focuses on the island’s beautiful interview – which is perfect walking country.

‘The Corfu Trail’, as it is known, is a long distance footpath which snakes its way from north to south, covering about 136 miles. En route, are mountains, cypress and olive groves, a profusion of flowers, ancient villages, monasteries, gorges, valleys and spectacular beaches.

The holiday begins on the east coast at Benitses – a village surrounded by tree clad mountains – and then embraces, the awe-inspiring villages of Paleokastrita and Nissaki (at the foot of Mount Pantokrator) and finally, Corfu Town itself, which was much influenced by the Venetians.

The price, from £1160 per person, includes return flights, transfers, half-board accommodation with dinners taken at local tavernas and the services of a tour leader.
