With house prices continuing to rise, now could be the time to invest in a new home in Pontarddulais.

Halifax*, one of the country’s biggest mortgage lenders, reported that UK average house prices increased by 1.2% in October. It linked the fourth consecutive monthly increase with a growth in demand for housing.

Rachael Davies, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales) commented: “With increased buyer demand pushing up prices now could be the time to trade in your existing property for a bigger, better, brand new home at Cae Rebeca.”

Figures from Hometrack** suggest that it takes an average of eight weeks and 11 viewings for vendors to sell their existing property.

“Redrow understands how frustrating it can be to find the perfect property only to be held back from moving because you are caught up in a housing chain and is offering a solution that could save time and money,” Rachael said

“With Redrow’s part-exchange scheme the company effectively acts as a ‘cash buyer’. It means our customers don’t have to worry about finding a buyer for their old home and can move into their brand new home almost straight away.”

Cae Rebeca offers a blend of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Part-exchange is currently available on selected three-bedroom ‘Idwell’ type homes, priced from £141,995.

A three-bedroom ‘Dunmore’ type home is also available at £129,995.

“Situated in the picturesque town of Pontarddulais, Cae Rebeca offers versatile country living and just eight miles from Swansea is ideally placed for commuters,” Rachael commented.

“Pontarddulais has amenities to cater for residents’ everyday needs, including a choice of both English and Welsh speaking schools, making Cae Rebeca the perfect place to raise a family.”

Designated an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, the surrounding county features beautiful parklands and breathtaking views along the Gower coastline, for those who want to get back to nature; while the attractions of nearby Oakwood Theme Park provide adrenalin junkies with the opportunity to experience some real excitement.
