February: Valentine’s romance on the South Downs

Deer Cottage provides an ideal setting for a romantic Valentine’s weekend retreat. This cosy flint and stone cottage 10 miles from the market town of Chichester and the south coast has spectacular views to the South Downs and is surrounded by fields frequented by wild deer, and adjacent to footpaths opening up miles of romantic country walks.

March/April: Spring house party in a country manor

Rent a country manor house for a gathering of friends and family and experience the life of the landed gentry with horse-riding, falconry close by and country walks from the house. Brecon Beacons Manor sleeps up to 18 guests in 9 bedrooms and is a luxurious country retreat surrounded by 50 acres of gardens and parkland. May/June: Learn to surf on Polzeath Beach

July/August: Forage for food in Cornwall
