Turkey and North Cyprus with Metak Holidays

Leading Turkey and North Cyprus specialist, Metak Holidays, has launched its 2010 brochure packed with a wealth of new hotels ranging from ‘small and friendly’ family owned properties to five-star all-inclusives.

The company, which celebrates its 33rd anniversary this year, has also expanded its range of hotels in Istanbul -  this year’s European capital of culture - with additions including the elegant four-star Arcadia Hotel located in the historic sector of the city.

Prices for a three-night break lead in at the twin share rate of £449 per person inclusive of return scheduled flights from Heathrow, Stansted, Birmingham or Manchester, transfers and accommodation with breakfast.

Two centre holidays – combining four nights in Istanbul with 10 nights in a Turkish or North Cyprus beach resort - are also available, along with tailor-made packages.

The company has also expanded its choice of small, family-run properties for couples seeking an authentic Turkish experience and keen to avoid the ‘patter of tiny feet’. These include the boutique-style Kulube Hotel in Kalkan, a property that does not accept children under the age of 16 years.  Prices for seven nights in May start at £429 per person (twin share) including return flights from Gatwick, Stansted, Birmingham or Manchester, transfers and accommodation with breakfast.

With families in mind, the company has expanded its offerings in Belek, one of the country’s newest resorts and home to top quality all-inclusive hotels with children’s clubs.  The five-star Xanadu Resort Hotel makes its debut, where a seven-night holiday leads in at £669 per adult and £479 per child in May  inclusive of return Heathrow, Stansted or Manchester flights, transfers and all-inclusive accommodation.

There’s also expansion in tranquil North Cyprus, where the resorts of Kyrenia, Famagusta and Bogaz are featured. Additions include the three-star ‘Green Holiday Village’ - at the foot of the Five Finger Mountains - where May prices lead in at £419 per person inclusive of return Stansted flights, transfers and accommodation with breakfast.

Departures with the ABTA and ATOL bonded company, which uses scheduled flights with in-flights meals, are available from Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Manchester and Birmingham.  Other regional departures, using charter flights, are also available.
