Austravel goes all-inclusive down under

22nd January 2010 Print

To lure first time travellers to the world’s ‘hottest’ destination, Austravel has created an exclusive, wallet friendly, all-inclusive trip to Sydney and Cairns.

The 10-night Sydney and Reef trip will include international and domestic flights with Qantas, a four night stay at the 4 star Vibe Hotel in Sydney, a six night stay at the 4 star Lakes Resort & Spa in Cairns, airport transfers, Sydney Harbour Cruise, Ocean Spirit Reef Cruise and daily breakfast, packed lunch, dinner and selected drinks.

“We have created the all-inclusive package to encourage first timers to go down under and dispel the myth that Australia is too far away and too expensive to visit. This all-inclusive package is excellent value for money and allows travellers to effectively manage their holiday budget,” says Austravel’s Programme Director Richard Twynam.

First time travellers will experience two of the country’s iconic destinations including world famous sights such as Sydney’s Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the Great Barrier Reef.

On Austravel’s Coffee Cruise, travellers will cruise around Sydney Harbour and its renowned landmarks aboard the city’s flagship MV Sydney 2000. Afternoon tea will also be served on board.

When they move to Cairns, travellers can enjoy the Ocean Spirit Reef Cruise. They will sail by catamaran from Cairns to Michaelmas Cay - a picturesque low lying reef island, surrounded by fringing reef and a protected sanctuary for migrating seabirds. On the return to Cairns, guests can relax with live entertainment and a chilled glass of Australian sparkling wine.

The all inclusive trip is on special offer until 2 February costing just £1595 and will be valid for selected travel in April and May 2010. Prices are per person, based on two sharing and are subject to availability.
