Multileasing announces Carbon Balancing Scheme

29th March 2010 Print

Multileasing has joined forces with the World Land Trust (WLT) to produce a carbon balancing scheme that offers customers the ideal, ethical opportunity to offset the carbon emissions from their fleets.

A specialist in the world of fleet management, Multileasing has taken the lead with an issue that faces many companies today, by carbon balancing all their operations with the WLT.

Multileasing Managing Director Iain Luck, comments “We feel this issue has become increasingly important to companies today, especially if they are either connected to the fleet sector or operate a fleet themselves.”

He continued “By not only offering a carbon balancing scheme to all our customers, but by carbon balancing all our operations as well, it shows we’re taking the subject seriously and also, hopefully, setting an example to our customers by partnering with an ethically based organisation to reach a solution.”

The affiliation with WLT, a non-profit conservation charity, enables Multileasing clients to offset either part or all of their fleets carbon output. The ecology projects run by the WLT deliver a measurable offset for CO2 emissions, one of the major environmental factors facing fleet operators today.
