Air France Music takes off

23rd March 2010 Print

For many years, Air France’s passengers have been enjoying a wide selection of music by artists from all over the world.

True to its innovative approach, Air France is introducing Air France Music and now provides passengers online access to its rare and exclusive pieces of music on the social networking websites Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and Netvibes.

In association with BETC Music, BETC Euro RSCG’s musical entity, Air France offers exclusive podcasts, musical favourites, playlists from the “On air” selection played on board its aircraft and other music to discover online.

For its launch, Air France Music* has joined forces with the group Phoenix, an ambassador of French music abroad and which recently won a Grammy Award, to launch the “Air France x Phoenix” competition.

Open until 31 March 2010 on Facebook.com/airfrancemusic, this competition** could win you:

• A trip for two people (flights + hotel + transport) to see the group play at the legendary music festival Coachella in California (from 15 to 19 April 2010),

• An exclusive podcast with 10 tracks chosen by Phoenix.

Other Air France Music events will be scheduled during the year.

The attention paid to the quality of the musical atmosphere on board its flights is also expressed in the various advertisements for the Air France brand. From The Chemical Brothers in 1999 illustrating the poetic and airy film by Michel Gondry to Telepopmusik today, Air France has always considered music as a relevant vector of communication, in close connection with its unique vision of air travel which is conducive to dreams, relaxation and replenishment.
