JPMorgan Brazil Investment Trust offer period ends soon

9th April 2010 Print

J.P. Morgan Asset Management has confirmed investors looking to invest in the launch of JPMorgan Brazil Investment Trust have just one week left to invest directly.

The offer period will close on Friday 16th April at 3pm and the Investment Trust is expected to commence trading on Monday 26th April.

Investors who subscribe to shares during the offer period will receive a bonus issue of subscription shares on a one for five basis.

JPMorgan Brazil Investment Trust will be the only UK investment trust focused solely on Brazil, offering access to companies exposed to the rapidly growing domestic economy by investing in domestic infrastructure, communications, financial services and consumption rather than tracking the index which is heavily weighted towards commodities.

Direct investments can be made by downloading a prospectus and application form from the website jpmbrazil.co.uk. The Investment Trust is charging 1% on gross assets with a performance fee of 10% on NAV growth over benchmark, only payable in years of positive NAV growth.
