Irish Ferries reports exceptional demand

20th April 2010 Print

Irish Ferries continues to experience exceptional demand – more than 200 per cent more calls – for both foot passenger and vehicle space on its four daily sailings between the UK and Ireland.

Declan Mescall, passenger sales manager for Irish Ferries says “We have tremendous capacity – the Ulysses is the largest car ferry in the world – and we can cope with the demand.”

Intending passengers are advised to make advance reservations online at irishferries.com - though the website is experiencing very heavy traffic.

Advance reservation is recommended: the capacity to handle on-the-spot bookings at the ports is limited and there have been queues of passengers arriving at Dublin Port seeking travel to the UK.
