Twenga delivers access to over 230 million online shopping offers

Twenga, the next-generation shopping search engine and price comparison website, has announces that it now displays over 230 million shopping offers (i.e. products) from more than 100,000 retailers. If Twenga were a physical shopping centre it would cover an area the size of Plymouth. Twenga has grown rapidly to be available in 14 countries in just three years, and is now ranked at number 14 amongst all price comparison sites.

“Thanks to our technology, we are able to progressively index all online retailers. We are well on the way to achieving our objective of being the most comprehensive shopping search engine on the internet.” says Bastien Duclaux, Managing Director and co-founder of Twenga. “We give users a range of choice that reflects the virtually infinite choice of the online world.”

To help users easily take advantage of this huge range, Twenga has radically simplified its sites.

“Twenga means ‘straight to the point’,” explains Gaël de Talhouet, VP Marketing at Twenga. “We’ve simplified our site navigation to help users easily find the product they want at the best price among the millions of deals from our retailers. We’ve put in a navigation bar to directly access multiple search criteria, and highlighted useful content such as bestsellers by category. For example, to buy a set of garden furniture, users can immediately find the material and colour they want from amongst the 4,452 products from 137 shops.”
