Experience the Tour de France with WorldHotels
Marking the first time the Tour de France has started in The Netherlands since 1996, WorldHotels launches two special tour-themed packages at hotels in Rotterdam.
The packages are available at the Manhattan Hotel and the Bilderberg Parkhotel from June 21 to July 25, subject to availability.
In addition, guests can enjoy the Tour de France cities Brussels and Paris at special rates available until August 2010.
The Tour gets underway in Rotterdam on July 3, finishing along the Champs Elysées in Paris on July 24.
The only five-star hotel in the city, the Manhattan Hotel Rotterdam, offers a special Tour de France package priced at £259 for two people staying one night in a double room. It includes a day’s bike rental so that guests can experience something of the tour themselves, a travelcard giving unlimited access to public transport in the city, a three-course dinner, including a glass of champagne, buffet breakfast and a gift in the room.
Meanwhile, the four-star Bilderberg Parkhotel offers a package that includes a ticket to the Tour de France exhibition in Rotterdam’s Kunsthal, an official “Grand Depart Rotterdam 2010” gift, free use of the hotel’s sauna and fitness facilities, welcome fruit bowl in the room, city map and breakfast. This is priced at £134 for two people staying one night in a double room.
And with the attractive WorldHotels “Two Nights and More” rate including breakfast, travellers can visit the Tour de France cities Brussels and Paris at a fantastic rate. The offer is available till 31 August for people staying a minimum of two nights.
