WorldHotels launches business programme for SMEs

28th May 2010 Print

The international hotel group WorldHotels is the first collection of independent hotels to launch a dedicated programme for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on July 1st, 2010.

Very often, SMEs have strong relationships with hotels on a local level and receive preferential rates at selected hotels but do not have negotiated corporate rates in place on a global level. As a consequence, they spend a lot of time shopping for rates and managing their international travel. The new WorldHotels’ business programme, Travel Select, offers the perfect solution to these challenges.

With Travel Select, SMEs have instant access to preferential rates at 450 unique upscale hotels in over 250 destinations worldwide, and are able to book them directly via a designated booking engine. With no negotiation needed, their travellers benefit from exclusive discounted offers and rates. In addition, Travel Select serves as a comprehensive reporting tool and makes it easy for companies to keep track of their accommodation expenses.

As an introductory offer, for SMEs registering between 1 July and 31 December 2010, participation in the programme is free of charge for the first six months and no minimum number of bookings or room nights is required during that time.

Any small or medium-sized enterprise can register at worldhotels.com/travelselect and will be able to immediately enjoy the benefits of Travel Select.

“With Travel Select, we offer small and medium-sized enterprises a programme specifically designed with their budgets and travel management resources in mind”, says Robert Hornman, Managing Director of WorldHotels. “At the same time we give our hotels  the advantage to offer an added value to their local clients by giving them easy access to favourable rates at all of our hotels worldwide.”
