9th June 2010 Print

Perodua continue to see strong growth within the market as May registrations show another impressive result with a 55.9% increase compared to the same month last year, being the third largest percentage increase across manufacturers in the UK market during May. Demand for the great value Perodua range continues to increase with year-to-date registrations up by an incredible 81.7% compared to last year.

Myvi has proved to be very popular with year-to-date registrations up by 94.6% compared to last year. With the generous £1,000 swappage allowance currently on offer from Perodua, the Myvi is available from as little as £6,799. This great value super-mini has a high standard specification for such a small price tag including power steering, four electric windows, electric mirrors, integral radio/CD player and body coloured bumpers, door handles and mirrors with integral indicators. Surprisingly, the Myvi also has air conditioning which is perfect for the upcoming summer months and is available in a choice of free metallic paint and high gloss finishes. On top of all this, Perodua are also offering Myvi customers free remote central locking until the end of June.

With such a positive start to 2010, the addition of several new Perodua dealers means that this trend is likely to continue throughout the year as representation in the UK increases. Last month, Perodua appointed new dealers in several key open points including Brookroyd Garage in Harrogate, Car Village in Kidderminster, Graham Roberts Autos in South Molton and Panda Motors in Swansea. Perodua are looking to expand the dealer network further over the coming months and introduce Perodua to new areas of the UK.
