Buckle up for an action packed summer in Cologne

The Excelsior Hotel Ernst in Cologne has pushed out all the stops this summer following the launch of their new action packed incentive programme packages featuring activities such as Ice Hockey, Ferrari driving and Samurai Sword fighting.

If you are bored of the usual incentive packages then why not try something a bit more exhilarating at the Cologne Arena the home of the ‘Kölner Haie’ (Cologne Sharks) ice hockey team. The group will receive expert tips and advice from the Sharks themselves and learn to skate like a pro. The package can accommodate up to 35 delegates, prices start from €3,500 per group.

For those groups who wish to take the action to the next level why not try your hand at driving one of the finest Italian Ferraris. This exclusive incentive package is excellent for motivating employees and entertaining clients or business associates. The package includes half a day in a Ferrari and can accommodate up to 150 delegates. Prices start from €150 per person.

If you want even more action then take out your sword and prepare to fight like a Samurai. Guests will have the chance to learn how to fight like a true Samurai. The training will be conducted by the ACA (Action – Control – Action) the training organisation, and will follow an organised structure called KATA. This originates from a Japanese tradition of choreographed movement. They are not meant to be physically challenging and can be practiced by female and male participants of any age. Working with a sword will help you understand the dynamics behind conflicting situations, negotiations and other challenges in your private and professional life. The class varies from between four and eight hours and can accommodate up to 20 people a session. Prices vary and are available upon request.
