Quench your thirst in Germany

Beer Festivals in Germany

After a long, hot summer, what better way to quench your thirst then to head off to the most famous beer festival in Germany, the Oktoberfest. One of the largest folk celebrations in the world, it has its 200th anniversary this year, so travellers are set to enjoy an extended period of festivities.

On HomeAway.co.uk, the UK’s largest holiday rentals website, there are over 100 private holiday homes available to rent in Munich, from city centre apartments to spacious houses. As demand for rentals soars during this popular festival, travellers should book now to guarantee their place at the biggest and longest Oktoberfest ever.

Alternatively, for those in search of similar experiences, Brussels is also hosting its own version of the Oktoberfest, taking place early September, and Stuttgart is organising a wine festival between 25th August and 5th September, where the region’s established wineries will join together to celebrate a season of sun and wine with twelve days of celebrations. For a chance to enjoy these festivals like a local, why not rent a real ‘home’ with space to kick back and relax after a long day or night on the booze, and maybe even entertain new local friends?

Take your pick from one of the properties below, or visit HomeAway.co.uk for more than 220,000 properties worldwide.
