SAS will increase the number of departures this autumn on several intra-Scandinavian routes due to strong demand.

Between Copenhagen and Stockholm, SAS will add two daily departures, taking the total number of daily flights to 15 as of September 1. SAS will also increase the number of departures on the following routes: Copenhagen-Bergen, Copenhagen-Oslo, Copenhagen-Stavanger and Oslo-Stockholm.  In total, SAS will add 62 new departures a week.

“Besides a record high load factor, we have also noted a positive booking trend within our Scandinavian network. In order to provide our customers with the most and best departures, as well as transfers, we will offer an additional 62 new departures this autumn” says Robin Kamark, Chief Commercial Officer, SAS Scandinavian Airlines.

Last month, SAS also informed that it will add one A340 to the traffic to increase the intercontinental traffic this autumn. As a result, SAS will offer its customer more departures to New York, Chicago, Bangkok and Dubai as from October.
