Barratt is launching its long-awaited selection of luxury homes at one of the region’s most sought-after developments.

The Barns, part of Burrium Gate in the historic town of Usk, offers four and five bedroom family homes built around a traditional courtyard.

Blending in beautifully with the breathtaking scenery surrounding them, the new homes are built in a number of different styles – creating a country setting of new homes like no other.

“We have designed The Barns along the same lines as a traditional farmhouse and barns,” said sales director Adrian Bird. “This fits in brilliantly with the rest of the development – and the large open space and farmland next to the site.

“The different house styles here are perfect alongside the other family homes at Burrium Gate and the smaller ones available at Burrium Chase. This is so exciting for us because we are now able to offer buyers a comprehensive choice with an even wider variety of properties than ever before. The designers here have created a ‘real village’ look.”

The Barns offers a variety of two and three storey homes, each with a high specification and offering varying architectural styles.

“Our aim here was to create an overwhelming sense of style and luxury,” said Adrian Bird. “These homes have superbly designed kitchens with a range of integrated appliances, luxurious living rooms and ensuite facilities to the beautiful master and second bedrooms.

“Some of the homes also features separate dressing rooms – for those looking for even more space.”

Located in the heart of the Usk Valley, The Barns at Burrium Gate is well away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Part of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the valley offers residents spectacular scenery, excellent fishing waters and adventurous walks.

Usk itself is noted for its rural setting, tranquil lifestyle and quality of life. The town is also renowned for its pubs, restaurants and antique shops. Some of the premises along its narrow main street date back to the 15th century.

“This is a wonderful rural location with the benefit of all the local amenities and transport links buyers come to expect from a Barratt development,” said Adrian Bird. “We have already received a tremendous level of interest in this outstanding site. And I have no doubt that buyers will love these homes just as much as we do.”
