Santa Pod's BMW Show - 19th September

Santa Pod BMW Show

The BMW Show at Santa Pod Raceway is back for it's fifth year and all BMWs are welcome- race cars, show cars, modern, retros, classics, new minis and BMW bikes.

BMWs have all the right elements to make great drag cars. Powerful engines, rear-wheel drive and stable handling all add up to unbeatable straight-line fun. It's no wonder so many BMW owners are hooked on Run What Ya Brung events at Santa Pod Raceway.

It's for this reason that Santa Pod introduced an event exclusively for BMW owners, where the track is open only to Bavaria's finest. Camping is available to all those that wish to stay for an extra day of fun at the Pod with RWYB on Saturday and music in Fuelers bar on Saturday night plus fun fair rides.

Run What Ya Brung (BMWs only)

Get your car out on the famous ¼ mile! with a full performance print out for each run, and competition with trophies for fastest 4, 6 & 8 cylinder cars. Santa Pod are charging just £25 for UNLIMITED runs on the track!

All vehicles that run during the day are put into classes and there are trophies for the fastest in each class.

Classes:
Class A - 4 cylinder (not minis)
Class B - 6 cylinder
Class C - 8 or more cylinders
Class D - Diesels
Class E - BMW Bikes
Class F - New Minis
Class X - Non road legal (including all cars on slicks)

Drivers of diesel cars can choose to enter either their cylinder class (A/B/C) or the Diesel class.

To enter the RWYB, simply enter on the day. You will need to bring your normal road driving licence to enter. Drivers of soft-top vehicles and those doing 110mph+ at the finish line will need a crash helmet. More details on the RWYB page.

If you want maximum track time then come for the weekend as there is a RWYB on Saturday 18th September with free camping for weekend ticket holders.

Got a sweet BMW show car? Whether it's a concours classic, or a modern modified monster, you are welcome to park up in the Show Car Paddock. There’s no need to pre-enter, and anyone with a BMW can enter on the day for FREE.

There's also a stunt display, cars for sale, racing cars, and club areas to make the perfect day out for any Bavarian petrolhead.
