The Harris family from Prescot have found their dream home at George Wimpey’s development Manor Court and made a great deal with George Wimpey’s part exchange scheme.

Amanda and Stephen moved from their old two bedroom terrace house with daughter Holly to a brand new three bedroom Derwent home without any stress thanks to the part exchange scheme offered by George Wimpey.

“We wanted to make the move to a nicer, newer area.” Stephen explained, “The move needed to be a big change from our previous home and George Wimpey offered to buy our existing home in part exchange for a brand new home at the Manor Court development. We’d seen the development opposite Tesco as we do our shopping there. We drove by one day and decided to drive into the development. We spoke to the sales executive, had a look at the Derwent show home and couldn’t believe that we could actually go ahead with the purchase of this new home. That night we decided to move to Manor Court. We even picked the same house type as the show home because we liked it so much.”

“Part exchange was the perfect scheme for us because it meant that we instantly had a buyer for our current home and didn’t have to worry about it. George Wimpey took the house and the stress off our hands.

“The customer service offered by the sales executives Yvonne and Barbara has been brilliant and there has never been a problem too big or small that they couldn’t deal with. Phil the site manager has been especially helpful.”

Anthony Mansfield, sales and marketing director, said: “With the part exchange scheme we hope to take all the stress of moving off the customers hands. I’m pleased that the Harris family found it easy to move with this scheme and that they really feel at home in one of our properties.”

Part exchange is great for those who already have a property to sell. The fantastic deal provides the purchaser with a guaranteed buyer and removes the financial burden of estate agents fees. George Wimpey will buy your home from you – no stress, no hassle, no fees, no worries. Buyers can also take advantage of George Wimpey’s great House to Home removals service, which will provide you with a fully inclusive moving package that covers full packing and unpacking, even insurance cover, all for free.

Manor Court is ideally placed for residents to take advantage of all Prescot has to offer and caters for buyers on all stages of the property ladder. George Wimpey has recently unveiled a new selection of three and four bedroom homes at the development, with prices from £156,995. A three bedroom Derwent show home is also open to view.

Manor Court is a ten-minute drive from St Helens and Liverpool city centre can be reached in under 30 minutes. The development benefits from being close to the A580 and the M62. Manor Court also has a range of local amenities, being within walking distance of Prescot town centre which has a wealth of local shops and traditional pubs.

For more information on the development, call in to the sales office on Steley Way, Prescot, open Thursday to Monday, 11am until 5pm.
